Ongoing CWG fiasco has taken centre stage in some media and also in our Parliament that not only rocking the scenario, but also reached far and wide to bring India to shame! The rot is so deep that even after such day light robbery by OC, its chief Kalmadi has the gut to come in public and state his innocence and refuse to step down for the mess unless he is asked to do so by Sonia Gandhi or Dr. Manmohan Singh. What a joke, when entire country can see and understand how public fund has been grossly misused through corruption down the line. Any boss with a bit shame and dignity should immediately step down and be aloof till he is cleared of the charges or at least of his direct or indirect involvement. Such shameless fellows could only be politicians as they maneuver to implicate less powerful guys who equally enjoy the loot and be ready to be the scape goat ! Entire population of our country of over a billion is merely mute spectators like that in amphitheatre in olden Roman era when gladiators would fight to save life and provide amusement to spectators. The difference is that period, it is fought for valour and now only to justify "corruption". Three "C"s have so deeply entrenched in our life that we all have started living with them....these are "Criminalisation"...."Corruption" ...and "Collusion". Former two we all know and almost witness daily with the kind of atrocities on women, children and people are taking place, the one probably we do not know as much is "collusion".....these are nexus of politicians with underworld, builders, sport committees, large corporate etc. where large money involved these people like honey bees will seat even it stenches. But, the main players beyond this is our Bureaucracy who provide all ideas and loop holes to many dumb ministers that the former easily maneuvers to their benefits. Bureaucracy is the biggest syndicate in the country and probably the worst system inducted by the British to perpetuate their game of "divide and rule". This is high time we dismantle the British system of Bureaucracy that cultivates only "procrastination", "corruption", " window dressing", "red tapism", "favouritism" etc down to its core. We have enough good people and excellent professionals in the country, who have come in forefront of their own merit and competence, not through syndication and proliferations of family tree and contacts (where it matters), who can replace IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS cadres over a period of time and build the country with people of integrity and character. Otherwise, we will see every other days a can of worms like that CWG and will become more cynical without removing this cancer from our society. This calls for young generation of this country, who can only change the fate of this country by lifting it from present Nadir to Zenith of excellence, provided they believe in true ideals like honesty, truth, hard work and above all in character of integrity. Is there takers to be change agents ?
