What life has ever taught us
We may never know
When all seems hopeless
That's when the lessons enter and flow
Life; we may never know its soul
But if we look closer
We discover it in our own
Anger, Pain and Sadness
Happiness seems to pass
But we must never forget
That good or bad, it never lasts
Life always seems greener
From the other side
Until we step in the other shoes
And go along for the ride
We cannot help it
