In institutions where the student learns from teachers like a novice learning trade in the company of skilled workers, the gravity of Guru-Shishya(teacher and taught) tradition may be considered non-existent. Such an objective can also be served by taking recourse to studying privately or through a correspondence course. The utility of schools lies in providing appropriate opportunities for development of personality as well. It should happen side by side with the tradiditional teaching and learning process. To achieve it, however, there is a dire necessary to develop a craze for knowledge in the students while, on the other hand teachers are required to make their character, credibility and scincerity actively demonstrable. Management may or may not enforce this process through regulalations, but there is absolutely no constrains in cultivating such an environment voluntarily by the individuals. Learning and teaching of virtues has always been commended upon by the society. This process would, therefore, benefit the students on one hand and increase the dignity of teachership on the other. With it, the guardians would also feel obliged for the opportunity provided to their wards and on the other hand the society would appropriate that the educational system has rendered great service to the nation by providing it with able citizen
