I had been to Lakme salon which is in Rajarajeshwari Nagar this weekend and I must share my experience with you all.
I first entered the salon with lot of enthusiasm since my marriage was fixed and I wanted a very good hair softening to be done. As I entered there was a manager who was not so pleasing...however that was not a major concern for me because I was looking for something different. when I enquired about hair softening...they gave me the price list which showed "relaxing" and "Strait therapy". I was confused and asked them what is the difference.... she explained me something which was hard to understand.....however I asked her to make my hair softer. She gave me an appointment the next day and I entered the parlour on time.....
For my shock the manager was not there and the girls there said she will not come back.... I was again under a major confusion and still believed the "Lakme" brand name. A girl by name Maggi took me for hair wash and then asked me which type am I looking for.... I again told her that I m looking for softening and dont know whetehr to go for Softening or straightning.
She was confused and went back into a discussion room to have amjor discussion with colleagues....she came back after some time said their trainer will be coming tomorrow and I need to come back again for the softening.... Ohh god.... since they said it was Lakme trainer I was little happy as my hair would go to a professional and went there againg the next day. yeah...she charged me 150/- for hair wash (withour conditioner) which was of no use....
Finelly the next day the trainer gave me a good look with a very softened hair.
while softening I found out that the girls there dont know anything about softening. They are not at all trained properly in anything. My kind request is please dont take any risk by entering this parlour for hair straightneing.
