Vivo IPL 10 auction took place this week on Monday where Franchise invested more on English players rather than on Indian players.
England's Star allrounder Ben Stokes emerged as the most expensive player in the auction as Sunriser Hyderabad bought Stokes for 14.5Cr. Talks were there since England toured India last year in December, that stokes will get the high price in this year's auction.
But no one knows that Ishant Sharma, Chesteshwar Pujara, and Irfan Pathan won't get the buyers. In contrast, Franchise has been seen investing more on unfamiliar Indian players like T Natarajan who is bought by Kings XI Punjab for 3Cr, Mohammad Siraj by Sunriser Hyderabad for 2.6 Cr and Nathu Singh by Gujarat lions for 50 lakhs.
Afganistan young cricketer, Rashid Khan sold to Sunriser Hyderabad for 4Cr which came out as a surprise from this year's auction. Rashid gets 7 times more than his base price.
Stokes who has become most talked about player in the cricketing media since the auction gets a rebirth in his career as 10 months before Carlos Brathwaite hits him for 4 sixes in the last over of the T-20 World Cup 2016 Final and ruin the hopes of England winning the T-20 world cup.

350 players took part in this year's auction as 8 franchise spend over 91 Crore to buy 66 players of which 39 are Indians and 27 are overseas players.
Vivo IPL 2017 Scheduled is to start from 5 April 2017 to 21 May 2017. The opening ceremony and the finals are scheduled to take place at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
