Raj Babbar's utterance that a person can have a proper mean for Rs 12 in a city like Mumbai is per-colonial a thought. It shows that he has not been able to understand the pulse of the people as yet. Having said that, I believe most of the politicians have failed to understand what the people want of them.

Just adopting 'Gandhi' as your surname doesn't make one a better person, but what does the trick is adoption of the qualities that made Gandhi a MAHATMA. UPA and entire Congress needs to learn this, all the more in today's scenario, when people are fast faith in the present alliance.

This particular comment reflects how far is the ruling government from the reality and how indifferent they are from the plight of the 'common people'.

Just because they get subsidized food in the parliament canteen and whole lot of perks for being a public servant (pun intended) that doesn't mean that they can think of the same for the rest of the population.

Inflation is rising at a speed that has long beaten the growth rate. And our prime minister admitted that he doesn't have a magic wand to bring it down. How honest, but where does he bury the cloak of honesty when his own partymen utter such non-sense.

Our president and other partymen may have taken foreign flights and spent thousands of crores on their visits to other nations but when it comes to the general public here, it's just Rs 12.

Are you trying to tell me that one can survive on that paltry sum. Shame on you guys. It's indeed a shame that in the race to become good politicians you lost out on humanism.
