INDRAPRASTHA GAS LTD. CAN CHANGE YOUR WORLD

By: mountainlover | Posted Dec 29, 2010 | General | 1159 Views

This is an interesting story as to how one can bring down the electricity bill and increase will power.

We are using Indraprastha piped gas at our residence. Because of hard water problem, it was the time to change 5 years old geysers (these stopped functioning this season)

Just by chance I received a SMS from IGL (Indraprastha Gas Ltd.) stating that by switching to PNG geyser one can save on electricity bills. I called up the nos. given in SMS.

Tele Executive – Thank you Sir for calling IGL, your request has been noted and our person will visit you within 7 days for survey about pipe line requirement. You can buy geysers from market and specify PNG type geyser at time of purchase.

I waited for 7 days, no one turned up so I called them again.

2nd Tele executive – Sorry Sir, there is no record of your previous request in our system. I am generating a fresh request and visit of our person shall be arranged soon. Thank you for your faith in us.

Again a week passed away, no one from IGL turned up. I called up 3rd time.

3rd Tele Executive – Sorry Sir, I cannot check your previous requests as well as can not register your request as our system is not functioning.

During all these days we did not buy the electric geysers because of our contribution for saving the electricity. In cold month of December, we are having bath with cold water, which has made us strong to face winters of Delhi. My job involves travelling, yesterday I had cold water bath at 4.30 AM, whereas my neighbors were sleeping in cozy beds with extra blanket/quilt.

Thanks to IGL for not only bringing down our electricity bill but to make us strong. I have sincere advice to IGL for closing down their call centre so that IGL can too save the money. But on second thought I feel that they should continue it as other Delhites will also be benefited like us.
