He took my breath away - 'Sachin Tendulkar'

The master knows the game too well that he will survive. He needs to know introduction and perhaps the only soul who was born to rule the game called ‘Cricket’. I have been watching his game since childhood and I feel so sick when he is missing out from our team. And the big little master is none other than our own Sachin Tendulkar. I think technology to give us the option to choose the match which we would like to watch. And in my choice, there are many however, priority goes for that epic war played between India and Australia back in Sharjah (1998). This should be rated as the first in Cricket history. No offense please!! The one man who took India to victory with those lovely elegant cover drives with those mastering shots which shook Autralian players all the way from the start. When I watch Airtel advertisement and of course a finger could break many hearts. And that’s when Sachin gets out and we loose hope. He goes after the bowler and gets them down, down and down. I was almost on feet when he was dropped when India had just few runs to get qualified for Coca-Cola cup finals at Sharjah. He made sure that India is going to be playing finals. And like Tony Creig said, what a bad luck for the Australians. Legends rarely come and Don Bradman rightly said, there is nobody can match Sachin. Now, the controversy is if he is a match winner. Well, just see his career graph. He has played many games and how many of them do you see in cricket? Many come and go and few sustain till the end. I respect Brian Lara since he is a genius. He was brilliant when he played against Australia in 1999 smashing everyone to the boundary and winning the match single handedly. That was test and of course he is a legend too who said, Sachin is a master rightly supported my Glenn Mc Grath and few others. Now can we leave this legend all alone? We going to miss him and let him decide when he needs to retire. Give him respect and it’s unfair for us to ask him to retire. There are many times he took our breath away and all we can do is… just don’t break his heart!!
