About the Lord:

Khatushyamji is a name and manifestation of Barbarik, son of Ghatotkacha. Barbarik had obtained a boon from Krishna to the effect that he would be known by Krishna's own name (Shyam) in the Kaliyuga era (presently ongoing) and worshipped. Krishna had declared that Barbarik's devotees would be blessed just by pronouncing his name from the bottom of their hearts. Their wishes would be granted and troubles removed if they worship Shyamji (Barbarik) with a true piety.

One can either land at Delhi or Jaipur from any part of the country by Rail / Road / Air and from there, one can easily reach Khatu Shyamji.

My Experience:

I visited the temple for the first time this August with my in-laws. All others except me n my spouse had been there many times already and had praised the temple a lot. Although I had planned being with them in all their previous trips. But as we say "If you are not invited by the deity, u can't be there no matter what", the same happened to me, every previous occasion had some obstacles for me for the visit. Finally I stopped planning and prayed that when Baba calls me, will be there no matter what.

And as I mentioned Shyam Baba is sure a saviour, as soon as we started from Delhi, it rained like hell. Darkness everywhere and we saw almost around 6-7 road accidents that day. But all went well for us... The car did not show down in almost 3 feet deep waters etc etc. Overall our trip was awesome and we returned the same day with a very pious "darshan".

Will recommend to everyone who is inclined towards Krishna... Nice Warm place.

Thanks.
