Human intelligence that sustains and evolves over time and space is essentially embedded in brain’s subconscious layers that work instinctively and objectively, despite diversity of subjective and conscious choices and preferences. For example, gregariousness(sociability) is instinctive entrenchment of brain’s subconscious states and works silently for all and that is why humans somehow manage to live successfully in societies and keep in sync with cultures…
Naturally, human stupidities are also instinctive and subconscious expressions of brain states and therefore, they keep sustaining and evolving even after centuries and millenniums. Essentially, civilizations and cultures are genetic expressions and therefore, across the globe, despite awesome diversities and even among 7.5 billion people, intelligences and stupidities are common and generational. Only a handful human minds have in long history of humanity broke free of the slavery of genetic expressions of transcendental intelligences and stupidities to either question their validity and worth or create an alternative intelligence or stupidities…!
For example, an average person shall always believe that the best person to answer a question about God shall be a saint and never a physicist or cosmologist. He or she shall never accept that this is a stupidity because, answers can only be accepted as true and right when the answerer is objective, neutral and does not have a conflict of interest. A saint has lesser probability of being objective and neutral than a scientific person, still only a handful person shall reach to higher objectivity. This stupidity is genetic and culturally induced, which itself is expression of subconscious brain states…
In new millennium, there seems a reasonable change. Earlier, human behavior or human mechanism was always explained by psychologists, sociologists, spiritualists or philosophers. This is a generational and embedded stupidity akin to asking about God to a saint. However, in new millennium, very right so, all explanations of all human aspects are now being handled by neuro-scientists and other streams of pure science, especially Artificial Intelligence(AI). It is somewhat a correction of archaic stupidity that now, the entire ideas of ‘Consciousness’ and ‘Cognition’ are being studied and explained under the objective and verifiable field of science, especially quantum science…!
That is probably why, this new millennium holds such huge hope and potential for humanity. This time-space domain is effectively attempting to deal with ‘human-system’ from a perspective that is not purely subconscious and instinctive but conscious and deeply objective to the finesse of verifiability and replicability. For example, all human behavioral ‘anomalies’, like depression, aggression, sexuality, etc are being looked at not by psychology point of view but through the objectivity of brain science and genetic mechanisms…
Now that finally, the criticality of science and technology has reached a stage where human intelligence as well as stupidities of thousands of years are being ‘relooked’ and ‘re-arrived’ at, we cannot but have a glimmering hope that two more archaic stupidities also are handled differently and assigned to rightful domain –
Just like religion and spiritualism are wrong domains to seek answers of questions regarding God and divinity, similarly, people also need to see and accept that politics and economics are not the ‘right’ handlers of human wellness and solutions of life-living troubles. New millennium must divest humanity of so many stupid ‘beliefs’ about the utility and worth of politics and economics. Rather, politics and economics, as they stand today are chief protagonists of most human troubles…
Education that we have today, not only for kids and college goers but in all domains, cannot be handled by politicians, historians, philosophers and psychologists. Education is a field linked with human consciousness and cognition, which is such a specialized science. Humanity has suffered hugely over centuries, especially in the last century because human system of education has been handled with such archaic stupidities that it has begun to corrode the basics of humanity…
Overall, there is sufficient skepticism over what people see, know and visualize ‘science’ as. This also is a cultural stupidity that stays with most people. Subconscious stupidities are entrenched so deep and lateral in brain states that it takes huge courage and enterprise by ‘Conscious Self’ to override them and accept novel idealism. Like, tell a religious person, or even to a not so religious person that God or divinity is subconscious expression of human body-brain processing of ‘Realism’ and this ‘virtualism’ of divinity automatically withers away as and when the ‘Conscious Self’ tests the ‘validity-structures’ of its own subconscious self; that person shall never accept it. It is because, God and divinity has had a cultural identity in his consciousness that has now become genetic. Skepticism with science is also instinctive and genetic. Why? Because, science in its very existence stands as ‘Annihilator’ of most ‘subconscious stupidities’ based on instinctive assumptions of realism…!
So, can we say, the first thing that new millennium is slowly but surely changing is the way ‘science’ is being accepted and skepticism about science is being handled. Globally, newer generation has better associations with objectivity of science and that surely is a good sign for humanity. However, like all human enterprises, science also faces the same challenge of being ‘misused’ and ‘mis-merchandized’ by politics and economics of the day…! Oh…! God save science from politics and economics…!
