Dreams and their meanings change from website to website. There are different meanings of every dream that we see. I have been hearing since I was a kid and started recollecting my dreams that seeing a Snake in your dream means ‘a newborn about to come in the family’. Psychological or reality I am not sure but every time I have seen a snake dream, there have been pregnancy news from my relatives. I have been a night and a day dreamer since I was a kid.
Strangely, I always remembered my dreams and most of the times I was AM scared of my dreams. I see dreams every day. Some people would judge me by thinking that I need serious medical help, while my maid thinks I need to go to some Baba so that he can give me some taavis (locket by the messenger of God). Most of the times my maid has seen me crying in real while I am sleeping but I was actually seeing a dream. She told my mom that she should take me to some Baba who can CURE me!!!
Is actually seeing dreams a disease? We never call it a disease if we see better dreams all the time, but if we see scary dreams we feel that we need help and we are scared of something. I have Ailurophobia – the irrational fear of cats. I am not an animal lover. I am actually scared of most of them, but it is something about cats that keep me away from it. I sometimes feel the reason I am so scared of them that they actually come more in my dreams; and not only in my dreams but also in reality. I tend to be away from cats and they tend to come in my way in some way or the other.
My society, where I stay suddenly has more cats than humans, and I am not exaggerating (okay maybe I am a little) but we do have so many cats that they are scary. Though there are more than one similarity between me and a cat and I won’t be surprised if someone told me that I was a cat in my past life. Egyptians are related to cats in some way and one of the online past life site claimed that I was an Egyptian princess in my last birth. (Ermmm! Princess! Cool!) But is that real??? Real things can never come for free is what I believe. And this past life mystery was on a free website, which means it is not true.
Dreams make us. Dreams are a way of our inner self wanting to talk to us. Well I and my dreams have a special bonding, at times it’s even better than Fifty Shades and at times it’s worse than paranormal activity.
Anyway, had an off today for President’s Day today (oh! yeah I get US Holidays). Had spent my day watching TV and but haven’t grabbed sleep for more than 3 hours since yesterday. Right now I might fall off the chair and break my head, so might as well just go to bed and let’s hope to dream about something better than Fifty Shades – Christian Grey. Actually my dreams have their own fifty shades.
