First 25, followed by 50, 75, 100, 125 and now Fenil’s Bollywood Talk reaches another milestone-that of 150 weeks! It is an exhilarating feeling to know that a series which I started way back on June 19, 2008 is going on uninterrupted i.e. since almost 3 long years! Again, I would stress my biggest achievement-not a single week has been skipped! Whether its exams, ‘no-movie-period’ or holidays, I’ve make sure the Bollywood Talk gets posted every Thursday! And this has been going once 150 weeks, thus making my Bollywood Talk the longest series on MS!
Of course it might seem to people that my Bollywood posts would be getting many many comments…after all, it’s going on since 150 weeks! This isn’t the case however! At times, the comments don’t go beyond 2 or 3 but I am not complaining! After all, at least I am receiving comments! And that’s what keeps the Bollywood Talk going on! In filmy words, it’s that kind of a film which gets hardly, say, 20-25% occupancy but since the audience keep coming consistently for it, the theatrewallah is running the film since 150 weeks!
Sometimes, I do wonder, why is it so that comments are so few? Maybe I get technical or delve too deep into Bollywood trivia, which puts off readers! Since it’s a reader-based issue, I am inviting all the readers out here to tell me what they like and dislike about my Bollywood Talk and suggestions for the same! Apologies for not coming up with any contest/quiz/games on this joyous occasion since I’m preoccupied with exams! But I’ll organize something once I m free!
