The typical masala that is required to spice up the ratings of the show, Vamps are the most common recipe for TV producers. Whether it was Komolika played by Urvashi who became a household name with her mannerisms, or Sudha Chandaran as Ramola Sikhand or Achint Kaur for her roles as Mandira and Pallavi. They all managed to get an ample time to rule over the audiences.

Things haven’t changed much as even today damsels continue to spark lightening on the TV screens and show how evil they could be. The script always carries an important part of them. Negar Khan is already a popular face currently playing Madhurrima Jaganath in Main Naa Bhoolungi. Meanwhile Ankita Sharma is showing her versatile skills as Laila in Rangrasiya. Interestingly, this is Ankita’s first negative role. Following her is Anita Hansanandani who is impressively enacting the role of evil Shagun in popular soap Yeh hai Mohabbatein. Anita has also been a household name for the portrayal of Anjali in KavyaAnjali years ago.

Shikha Singh has returned on TV with yet another negative role as ‘Aaliya’ in Kumkum Bhagya. Her last stint as a terrorist in ‘2613’ was very much appreciated. Then there is Aanchal Khurana the famous ex-roadie who surprised everyone with her act in Sapne Suhane Ladkapan Ke. Coming to Youth shows, Rashi Mal beats every competition hollow as her act of Gauri Laada in Channel V's Paanch has become worth a phenomenon. She can literary call this act a ‘dream debut’ for sure.

Honestly the list is endless; there is particularly no soap without a fatale. And We need to admit YES It’s Important. The only thing needed is to break the monotony in which characters get trapped. This often makes the actors exhaust too. Also the quality gets affected. Literary, these are our best findings as Femme Fatales on TV. Let us know your favourite in comments section.
