It was almost the time to get up and leave the squeezed pillow inhale of its own in open air and the quilt to rest unburdened in a corner. The way things conjured me to experience my dream since childhood was worth to thank. The drowsy eyes were stretching the retina to envisage the dream. The air suddenly turned zephyr and concocted the whole story with others. The gentle breeze and soothing atmosphere were stunned. The birds disguised me with their unusual reticence to turn my dumb ears lubricated to feel the sound amidst so much of thudding rushes. The engines of the automobiles suddenly turned numb as if it had been fitted with a sound proof sensor or silencer. It was an overall utter silence at that moment.
The dream could have been fulfilled some 20 years ago had I been mature enough at that time. Once my mom told when I was a toddler-the things (utensils) started to fall down from the roof rack and I could only voyeur the people who were rushing for a better place for shelter, an open space- as told by my mom in innocence. But my mom didn’t move coz she knew that that particular terrain can’t have a shake for more than 4-5 second. But she at least carried me away to make me realize that it a simple hurdle you are facing and there are lots to come midway. So don’t fear from these silly things. My conscience was not that sturdy to realize what my mom told me then.
But every now and then she discusses about that. So I could recollect till now and feel very optimistic to tell someone that- “yes”, I too have experienced the tremor-the earthquake. Though it lasted for few seconds and intensity was low. But I thank those tectonic plates which slides and made my dream come true.
