In today's busy lives in the metros where we hardly have time to spend on the issues of the society and the people around, we fail to look back and realize what we can do to make the city a better place. Be it infrastructure, transport or just the entertainment bit, we all have a tendency to criticize and move on. Hardly do we take time out from our busy schedules to go ahead and file that much needed FIR towards the municipality who's been reluctant towards water-logging in your area or the illegal garbage dumping in and around the residential complex that you happen to pass through every morning.
We Indians love to play the blame-game, be it the Govt. or our very luck. We have a reason, a constraint ready for everything that we don't intend to act upon. Not that we don't realize the relevance and the very need to address them, but then the only question we have deep down is "Why me?" And that's something each one of us need to change within ourselves and get rid of those endless excuses that we keep making when it comes to things that don't impact our lives directly.
The day we come out of our comfort zones, go that extra mile and make that extra effort towards a better society, a better life and start caring for things that aren't necessarily'ours', will be a harbinger to a better'INDIA'.
