People say that there is no life better than School Life. Some says it’s a Golden Period and some says it’s a Diamond Period of our life but for me there is no comparison of School Life with any phase of our entire life because School is the only place from where we start our journey of life in a real sense.
Day before yesterday I went to a book shop with my Mom for purchasing some stuff. The moment I entered the shop, it reminded me of my childhood when I saw, there was a girl who was purchasing some colorful pens and stuff. It reminds me of my school days when I also used to collect colorful and beautiful pens & pencils. Like every child I too had one geometry box in which I used to keep my pens, scale, eraser, sharpener, pencil etc. What lovely time that was!!!
I remember all the naughty, scary, happy and funny moments which I had spent with my school buddies. The games like Hide & Seek, Hopscotch, Skipping, Kho-Kho, Gallery which I used to play in the recess time. That Parantaas & Aachar in our lunch which we used to eat in the class. That pocket money of 50 paisa or 1 Rupee by which we used to buy chips/Toffees/Taangri etc. The feeling of fear when homework was incomplete, the feeling of happiness when there was a surprise test and all the questions were those we had already prepared for. The feeling of excitement when class teacher was on leave, the feeling of joy when summer vacations were near and that feeling of emotions when we bid good bye to our school mates in the farewell. Purchasing our new school bags, books, pens were so much of fun moments.
Today no matter how happy we are but what matters that we can’t be as much happy and carefree as we were in our school life. But now our school has been replaced by office, our school bags has been replaced by purses or laptop bags, our Tiffin box has been replaced by lunch in hotels, our copies and books has been replaced by laptops, our pocket money has been replaced by our salaries, our new year cards has been replaced by costly gifts, our annual results has been replaced by our targets, our tension to complete the home work has been replaced by tension of completing the targets, our home work has been replaced by Reviews and meetings . Today we have everything in extra except those carefree and happy moments.
I still miss all these moments of school life. Though we are not in schools now but there is a little child hiding in all of us. So do let that kid live with you till you live…freely and happily…Aakhir Dil toh bachcha hai ji..!!!
Definitely we all do & will miss the lovely time in entire life and those memories will always cherish us.
