Dev Bhai Happy Wedding Anniversary
My brother Mazhar Bhai informed me that Dev Bhai is coming to Bangalore on 2nd June & he asked me to come & meet him in the evening at Coral Tree hotel. It was heavily raining in Bangalore & I had to complete my day’s work. In the evening I rushed to meet Dev Bhai but unfortunately I lost control in the rain & hit the tree. I was safe but my vehicle got damaged. I called Mazhar Bhai & said I will meet Dev Bhai tomorrow.
The next evening as per my promise I reached Patel’s Inn Club & met our big brother Dev Bhai & his family. It was nice meeting Sridhar Anna & Umesh Bhai after a long time. Dev Bhai invited me for the party in KSCA Club. I did not know the reason; I thought it’s just a friend’s meet. Thanks to my brother Mazhar Bhai for sharing the good news & suggesting me the beautiful ideas to celebrate Dev Bhai’s wedding anniversary in great style.
The next day I went to the car garage & dropped my Innova car for repair & went to the scooter showroom & purchased Activa Scooter, the manager said it will be delivered after two months, I wanted to buy on Dev Bhai’s wedding day & paid four thousand above the normal price & in the evening I came to the KSCA Club with my new Activa. Know I can remember the day I purchased my bike.
I was very happy to see all my friends celebrating Dev Bhai’s wedding anniversary. I brought shawls to honour the couple. Received the cake from Bhabi & had some great time with all friends. Anna & Mazhar Bhai was clicking pictures.
Believe me I was surprised when Mazhar Bhai told me that Dev Bhai is celebrating his silver wedding anniversary. I thought maybe my friends are joking, Dev Bhai looks so young & energetic, I can say he is like evergreen Dev Anand. God bless him with good health & hope we will celebrate his golden marriage anniversary.
I went home & started looking at our wedding pictures, I remember how young, and optimistic, and full of dreams I was. And, I think about how lucky I have been. Many of the dreams have come true in ways beyond my wildest imaginings. More than twelve years of my marriage we are just as much in love today as we were on that day twelve years ago. Our four children are most favorite people in the world. They are our most important accomplishment and bring us so much joy.
