I had the misfortune to do business with DEALSANDYOU.COM (or is it CON?). I ordered a mobile 16 days back, there was a promise of within 24 hour fast shipment and of delivery between 2-7 days.
Did not hear back for a long time so I called them. Mind you, they do not have toll free number, so I was paying long distance (or STD in India) for giving business to them. They had no idea. Basically, they integrate with various suppliers and front for them. The backward integration is extremely poor, even after expiry of the contractual 7 days limit, they did not know whether the supplier had shipped, or out of stock or anything else. Naturally, I requested refund. Once again, they would not process it. After calling 4 times (all paid by me) and a solid 16 days after I paid, I do not have even a status on what they are planning to do, no delivery, no refund.
At this find, based on my personal experience I have a strong suspicion that these guys are not genuine and I might have been swindled.
There is no way I will do any business with them again. Even after (and if!) I get refund or the product. Their customer service simply does not instill any confidence in the customer. I would not recommend doing business with them or any of their sister concerns FASHIONSANDYOU.COM, BESTYLISH.COM and FREECULTR.
