Recently, as I was doing my morning routine,Oops,Not what You have in mind,I mean walking around the park,I heard this stern male voice. A middle aged man(Am I too? Nah) was training his dog. With a clear, calm, yet stern voice,he was teaching his dog to sit and the dog was obeying his Masters Instructions. With his leash on,they jogged a few steps and repeated the process. He praised his dog and I could see that the dog was very happy, waging its tail at the commands of His Master's Voice.

The man was teaching the dog that it could be more than just being a ordinary DOG. He taught the dog to focus, discipline, and structure. What really struck me was that, he took the time. The TIME needed to train the Dog, to be more than a Normal DOG. As I continued along my morning walk, I pondered on what I had just witnessed. Thinking how he took the time for training just the DOG. How He was there with his time, patience, efforts. The Pleasure he was getting, the most out of that dog. How lucky that dog was to have a Master like him. And Many other random thoughts....

Then I wondered, how often do we take time out, to teach our own children? We constantly hear, "I'm so busy, I feel like I'm always running, I'm stressed. I had a hectic day of work...." Our modern world is so inundated with many tasks that has one goal and one goal only. That is to make as much as the time at hand without any quality time being spend with family. We feel a need or desire to possess it in order to feel fulfilled or popular for the sake of others and not for our own fulfillment. Show Offs...

Children need to understand the power of attention that we as parents can create for them from the limited time we as working parents have at hand. They have to learn to differentiate between what they truly need and what they want. We need to teach our children that we exists and give time for them, so that we can make them better individuals than what they can be. And because of that, parents should convince children to train to face the harsh real world. We need to teach our children how tackle the situations to stay afloat and to continue being a better human. We need to show how some of these moral and ethics can make them better. Something even if they don't really want to be one esp when our loved ones are confronted by real life problems, whether at work or surrounding environs or in personal life. Help our children to create an image of what a person should be or should look like, yet often this image may not reflect reality.

Here is the alarming thing. Do we know the difference? Are we good enough trainers? In old days father was bread earner and mother was home maker. But Now a days most couples both work full-time. We are overwhelmed. Overwhelmed for the most part to pay EMIs. Pay for the unwanted 'stuff' in our house. Pay for our vehicles. Pay for our clothes and look popular. For the most part, We don't understand the values underlined. We are just like children with adult faces!
