Chamunda Car Service Center

ON 23rd August, I gave my Santro xing (BY 359) for servicing. This was the first time in 4 years that I gave my car for service to a non Hyundai authorized service center. I shortlisted Chamunda Service Center Borivli (W) due to the impressive service I received six months back when I have to fix accidental damages to by car via insurance claim.

Since the service incharge Prashant was not well, the deliver of my car was postponed to 26th Aug from 25th Aug. I readily agree as at times circumstances are inevitable. Though I had made it clear that I had to travel to Pune on the 25th and would need my Car without fail. This was the first bad impression as I had to call the service center and find the status of my Car, rather then I being informed that my will not be ready on the 25th. Secondly when I took the delivery of my car the front left door had signs of scratches.

I showed it to the service engineer who tried to get it wax polished but the scratches only got a bit lighter. I checked the Job Order Card but the recording the scratch marks was not done, on the 24th Aug. So I couldn’t raise much alarm about it. Thirdly and the worst case… I happened to notice my petrol tank indicator on I reaching SV road BORIVALI (W) and my tank was much lighter then what ii was when left my car… the meter read 16941 when I left my car and not its 16952 all I wonder is does it takes 3 litres (Minimum I feel is missing) for a 11 km test??? I wrote a complaint email to them but they didn’t even call to check about my car performance post the service. Anyways though I don’t expect any compensation, surely will take a lot for me come back and give any business to them.
