Brendon Mccullum and BJ Watling created the highest sixth wicket partnership record with a smashing 352 runs. Such is the highlight of day 4, #NzvsIND test match. This record was previously held by the Sri Lankan pair Mahela Jayawardene and Prasanna Jayawardene, partnership 351 runs against India in 2009.

In the beginning, India had the Kiwis in a tight spot with 94 for 5 and one day to go. The game changed to such an extent that India stands a chance of losing the match as the highest sixth wicket partnership record gave New Zealand a lead of 200 runs.

Post the record score, Mohamed Shami broke the duo with Watling ousted for a LBW at 124 off 367 balls. Once Watling left, McCullum went aggressive with several hits and misses. Giving him company later was James Neesham and the new duo had a 120 run partnership.

The day ended, New Zealand's score of 571/6 leading by 325 runs, the captain completing 12 hours at the batting crease at 281 not out supported brilliantly by James Neesham at 67 not out. Brendon Mac may have to wait for another day to create his career's first triple ton. All in all, a good day for Kiwis.
