I humbly dedicate this poetry I just compose tonight; to the man who is the Uncle of many MSians. I respect him not just because of his age, but because, he is the man with reasons, integrity, God fearing, a loving dad, grandfather, husband and a nice friend.
Sir, I salute you for what you've reached in your life despite trials and adversities. May your tribe increase and share the same goodness and kindness that you do. May God will always bless you and the rest of your family too.. Here's the poem I especially wrote for you, "Because Its You Birthday Today!"
The Poem:
They say that," Life begins at forty."
But that doesn't mean it will end at sixty.
Because if it were so...
You will not be sixty seven today.
They also say that, " Age doesnt matter."
I said, maybe, as long as matter doesnt age.
Because if it were so...
That will be like troubled water under the bridge.
They say that,"Live life to the fullest."
I said, just take time to stay younger
Because, age are just numbers
Added to you life everyday and every year
So, start counting your blessings
And not what you are missing.
As time is gold so they say,
Enjoy life as you enjoy singing everyday.
Uncle Ben, I wish I could tell you personally
And wish you a very wonderful Birthday
I wish I can hug and tell you more, that...
Life is a blessing to have you for a friend
And I remember the song, "That's what friends are for!"
Because its your birthday today, I wish you a "Happy... happy Birthday, Uncle Ben!
