This is about an experience with a so called leader in theBPM bag, Bangalore – Latino Bean Bag.


My wife picked up a bean bag for Rs<> sometime in2008. The beans over the period of time (1 year & 8 months) deteriorated. Mywife called up Latino bean bag only to tell me that they don’t respond. I triedreaching them, but in vain. At last we thought of emptying the beans ourselves &get it refilled by Caprius (another known vendor). But then we couldn’t evenopen the zipper. This is when we took the bean bag to Caprius (Jayanagar) onlyto be told that these Latino guys sell fake & 3rd rate qualitybean bags & they refused to work on it.


Finally after weeks of calling, Rakesh (owner of Latino beanbags) called up & told that he will send the service guys the next day. Butthen there was no sign of the service guys nor a courtesy call from Rakeshindicating the delay. I called him couple days later only to hear that theyhave encountered some problems in Chennai and Rakesh admitted that since theyare new in business, they are facing these issues. If an owner of the companyadmits they issues in the process followed how is he running his business. Sofinally after weeks of calling (no courtesy calls from Rakesh though), theservice guys came to change the beans & the zipper. Such was the attitudeof the company & its personnel, that they asked my mom & dad (age of63) to help them refill the beans into the bag. The service guys did agood-for-nothing service by dirtying the entire place. Eventually mom had toclean up the place. They even took the bean bag back because they had comeunprepared to change the zipper. And this incident happened sometime aroundlast week of December 2009.


I waited patiently for the next 2 weeks for an update. Butsince I did not receive anything & I can’t expect from courtesy from unscrupulouspricks running a business, I called Rakesh on the 2nd week ofJanuary 2010. I was taken aback by the response I received: “We lost youraddress and phone number, so couldn’t update you”. I got a feeling that Rakeshis just another con artist trying to make a fast buck.


It so happened that even after providing him with an address& phone number, I did not receive my bean bag till 21st January.I called him again in the evening when Rakesh started on with his story: “Sir, Iam new in this business & there have been issues with the service &blah, blah”. And he promised that I will get the bean bag by 22ndJanuary. He also added that if I don’t get the bean bag by that date, he llgive free beans (I guess he knew his people were not going to keep up theirwords). 22nd evening, I get a call from his service guy telling methat he can only come by next day (23rd). I thought this is just ausual gimmick by Rakesh to delay the delivery. I immediately received 4-5 callsfrom Rakesh, but couldn’t pick up since I was in a meeting. That was the last Iheard from them.


And today after a month, I call up Rakesh only to hear thathis team had come 4 times & that I did not treat his people properly, when Ihave not even met his so called useless team. He started complaining that I didnot treat him properly & my parents did not treat his people properly. Isthis the way a start-up runs his company. And more than that he wants me tocome & pick up the bean bag myself. I have tolerated his shit many a time& finally he blames me.


I hereby make an open request to readers of this review, NOTTO EVEN EVALUATE LATINO BEAN BAGS. THESE GUYS CHEAT TO THE CORE. YOU WILL LOSEOUT EVENTUALLY. THEY DON’T HAVE A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY AND THEY DON’T ADMITTHEIR MISTAKES. SERVICE IS UNIMAGINABLY PATHETIC.


I will appreciate if anybody here can assist how to lodge a complaintagainst this company & the founder. Such persons & companies should bebanned.
