Mouthshut has come out with this new version and a diff look and feel. I personally cannot identify with the site anymore given all these changes. But then that is just my problem. Its very much their site and they are free to do whatever they like with it.
My issue mainly is with the fact that they are going to allow attaching my reviews on facebook and tweeter. Im not really sure if I bargained for that when I wrote the review. MS was a consumer oriented site and my reviews were readable only at this site. I feel that if they have got into an agrement with facebook or any other site to share our reviews there (and gain revenue in the process) , they should have obtained our explicit permission to do so, maybe even given us a royalty.
If MS is not willing to address this issue I may consider deleting all my reviews from here or at least those that I do not want to go into a further bigger domain. The main thing here is not money but the fact that they think nothing of taking even our approval before using our materials.
If the MS agreement at the registration time sneeked in this clause also somehwere in fine print then I will surely exercise my option of deleting my written materials/ photos etc.
