Airtel To Offer 3GB Of Free Data For 12 Months To Customers Who Switch To Their 4G network

They say "Everything is fair in love and war" and the telecom industry of India seems to have taken a cue from it.

The office of the telecom incumbents was jeopardized once Reliance Jio announced the free calling and data offer.

In order to counter the danger, all other telecom operators have slashed prices in the past month or so

Airtel joined the bandwagon too but yesterday Airtel made another new announcement which will make 2017 a better year for all the consumers out there

Airtel announced that it will offer 3GB of free data every month till 31st December to all the consumers who switch to Airtel. It claims that the free data it will be providing is worth Rs 9000.

The only catch is that this offer will be valid only for those customers who switch to airtel and the existing users who upgrade to 4G. One more thing that users need to keep in mind is that this offer will be available across the country from today( January 4) to 28 February

Airtel is offering two different plans for prepaid and postpaid customers and the details are given below

Rs 345 pack(prepaid customers)

Users who avail this pack are entitled to free calls, local and STD, to any network in India with an added bonus of 4GB data(1GB regular+ 3GB free data)

Infinity plans(postpaid consumers)

All postpaid consumers will be given 3GB of free data per month with all my infinity plans. This is in addition to regular plan benefits which include unlimited free voice calling, local/STD/roaming, data bundles, free SMS and free subscription to Wynk Music and Wynk Movies

With airtel making the free data offer move, the game surely seems to have become more interesting.

However, I feel in this fight of incumbents the only person is undoubtedly the winner is the consumer
