A review about reviews

Amidst an unfinished game of carrom and a crowd waiting for me in the hall to go out for an ice-cream, I am writing this Diary about what just occurred to me on writing reviews. Let's all undress from our corporate and social outfit and think of our intention of writing reviews. Ask yourself on the good reasons for writing one. You are right! These are the reasons that pops on our mind immediately. 1. To promote a movie because its success means so much to us like our success. 2. To prevent MS-ians from watching a bad one. 3. To display our intelligence in vocabulary. 4. To kill time. 5. To find friends of matching interests. 6. To flaunt your lifestyle. Very few become star writers and go on to become celebrities on MS or to matching grades on other blog / product review sites. But honestly I am no more having the enthusiasm of writing a review like I had when I started off. Not to blame MS, in fact this is one of the fantastic social sites I've seen wherein none of the reviews are left unread. But, I'm writing to find a seventh reason on why I want to write a review. I watched Splitsvilla get over and I wanted to write a review immediately after switching off the TV. I saw Rock On last week at Inox and wanted to rush home to write a review despite the midnight. But did neither of the above reviews. I think it's time for reviews to graduate to the next level from writing to 'talking'. Maybe it's time for people to record their voices, videos and upload to MS as part of their very small text-based reviews for very few enjoy writing as well as reading one. Thoughts? Let's make MS revolutionary by beginning one. My next review is gonna be one like this. What say?
