GOA is one of the destination where any tourist wants to go for visiting. GOA is very famous for its beaches and booze. This has made GOA a major tourist attraction site.
GOA has been depicted in many movies as the land of fun, hipsters, booze, drugs and even mafia. Well when I first saw "Dil Chahta hai" movie, I was very much fascinated by the movie and always want to go to GOA with my friends. But my family always said that I'm young to undertake such journey, even after my HSC, by then many of my friends have already gone to GOA and they have to tell me how they enjoyed there and have partied up till 1 am.
Finally after my graduation my family do allowed me. I was so happy from the permission but thenthey revealed that I have to travel with them, I was very angry, I couldn't understand why they are so over protective towards me, I'm an adult now and can go any where I want to go, I can take my own care and responsibility; but no I have to go with them. This was irritating but still I thought this opportunity will not come afterwards, so I finally I accepted it.
The date was fixed and then that day finally arrived we hadn't bought the tickets, we were to take a 2nd class ticket. Well a day before it was raining really hard, but in morning it was plain cloudy. I thought that we will be getting the train and be going GOA, but the RAIN-GOD had something else in his mind.
There was a land slide in the konkan region and all the trains were cancelled. Now after waiting for soooo many years and thinking and planning about what I would do once I finally reached GOA was flowed away in the rain.
Now thats really is "GO GOA GONE"
I have now made up my mind to marry a Goanese girl.
