A Day In The Life

By: sydbarett | Posted Dec 18, 2009 | General | 863 Views | (Updated Dec 18, 2009 04:13 PM)

Decades ago when the Beatles released Sgt. Pepper, they chose to close the album with a monumental number "A Day In the Life", outlining a typical day of a typical guy living in a typical metropolis. Needless to say that this subliminal tale of living life in a trance was possibly the best piece of music on the record and seemed to describe the mood of the album (and the times) fantastically well. It been several decades since then but the song is still wonderfully descriptive of our lives and our lifestyles in most ways, except one.

In those days there were no computers/Internet. And thats a huge difference. I'm therefore tempted to revisit the concept of "A Day In The Life" with a bit of allowance for computers & more importantly the Net. Since I'm not a quarter as talented as Mssrs. Lennon & Co. were, I have chosen a much simpler method to do it. By way of status messages that is. So without further Ado, dear reader, let me taker you on a roller coaster ride of "A Day In The Life" of a typical Netizen, courtesy status messages :-
