Turns out, you can save an entire plane without being in the plane itself
All you need is a little bit of alertness and some presence of mind!
And that is exactly what Rahul Singh,17, showed when he noticed that the tail of an airplane flying over his terrace was on fire. Rahul was sitting on the terrace when he saw the plane flying over his head. On seeing it, he immediately sprung into action and notified his father about the same
They then called up the police to inform the police who then took care of it from there
Luckily, this Go Air flight which was flying from Delhi to Bengaluru had just taken off when these boys spotted it. They called up the police at 7.40 and an emergency landing happened exactly seven minutes after the call at 7.47
Hats off not only to the boys but also to the police who was quick to respond and inform the pilot ASAP
After the landing, it was discovered that one of the engines of the plane had failed.
May God bless those boys who spotted it and saved the lives of 194 passengers onboard.
Had they not done what they did, this news would have made the headlines for sure but it would have been about 194 dying in a plane crash
Well, alls well that ends well. The gratifying thing is that lives were saved and an untoward mishap was prevented
