Again, if you liked the movie so much, how come you rated it so low? Was it sheer laziness?

Great review.... but why only two stars then? Did you make a mistake in rating it?

Thanks Curiosity. I just hope this movie dies a fast death honestly. What surprises me is how many women actually liked the movie. Maybe they liked the romantic idea of marrying an 'eligible bachelor' like Prem or liked how Prem agrees to marry Poonam despite her injuries. What they don't realise is... suppose Poonam had said yes to Prem. Obviously she didn't know anything about him at that point of time. Later on, if it transpires that they are no where compatible, what would a girl like Poonam do then? What is you have doubts about the guy? Will you try to address those or leave those to destiny? Can you gamble that way with your life? So all those aspiring Poonam's out there, please wake up.Read More

Well i-rock, I am not missing the point (At least as far as I am concerned). I am myself from a small town and I understand the small towns and the small town mentality, but painting small town gals as holier than cows mentaility is something I don't quite understand. Small towns aren't really what ...you perceive them to be in this age of satellite tv and Page 3. Marriage is all about compatibility and understanding and no where in vivaah could I see that the couple are compatible. Can you imagine someone really educated and outgoing as prem agreeing to marry to a girl like that in less than a minute, without ever talking? And then to desperately fall in love for no apparent reason? Love has a foundation too....what happens in a moment is called infatuation or a crush. Sorry but but they showed in the movie was utter nonsense and a romantic can probably appreciate it and hope that teh same thing happens to her, but being a realist, I can't just digest that. As for us being modern and ignorent, for some reason, people are so taken up by past and indian culture. So what according to you is Indian culture? The culture of boys not talking to gals? But that didn't use to be the case till India was influenced by islam. So what is our culture? Kamasutra? But that happened only in 6th century AD. Should I go further back? The fact of the matter is that culture is never static and it keeps evolving. You can either accept the change and enjoy it or cling to good old days and sulk. The choice is yours? Read More

Thanks moviezombie. Trust me, this movie is best avoided. This is the kind of movie I won't see even if someone pays me to see it. Patenik, I must admit I didn't like HSSH too much but it was bearable. I wasn't all restless in the movie and didn't emerge with a headache. Anyway, the rest is your ch...oiceRead More

As I don't write many reviews, I will come straight to the point. This movie is a disaster. It lacks a decent story (actually it lacks a story altogether), is EXTREMELY slow paced and it is grossly unbelievable. It ranks up there with alltime bad movies like Kisna where you almost tear your hair...Read more

Boy, what a movie!!!! Pixar studios has done it again. Their movie this time is ''The Incredibles'' and it's, well, incredible. Funny. Inspired. Superbo animation. (That's superb and turbo combined.) It's easily the best and brightest family-friendly movie of the year. The movie, directed ...Read more

When I decided to watch Raghu Romeo, I had no idea what I was in for (Over here in France one doesn't really get the blurb about movies). I must say I was pleasently surprised by the movie. It is something bordering on a dark comedy, a genre which I enjoy immensely. Remember Jaane bhi do yaaron?...Read more

I must confess that I am fairly selective about the movies that I watch. For some strange reason I decided to watch Garv, and honestly it was a pain to watch. Opening Scene(almost) shows Salman being thrashed by Police and no impact at all.... I think this is a straight take from one of the D...Read more
