I agree. They refuse card payments. give them a list of jobs. They will use child labour to wash it badly and present an inflated bill for jobs not done. I had asked for front brake oil change. On delivery I asked to open the lid, and they could not as it had not been touched.

I guess the multiple quotes one obtains from these sites is an eyeopener. One can use the rates from here to negotiate with the 'agents'. In that the websites are usefull. There is also the obvious issue of incompetent call center staff...but this is an attitude problem with all us Indians...no sel...f respect/pride in a job well done/sorry state of self motivation.We go to schools and colleges but remain schooled but 'uneducated' After all with caller tunes,TV, cricket and hindi movies as the four walls of our deary existence, we refuse to look out of the window..... The story has not ended yet.....why am I not surprised. Neither the original cover note nor the policy document/certificate of insurance has been received yet. almost 3 months after the policy was paid for.... Cholamandalam help line was efficient and promptly emailed be a soft copy and has pr...omised to send the hard copy in 2 days. Policybaazar helpline has been emailed but I do not think they are going to reply. MORE INTERESTINGLY..... The premium on the cover note is Rs 1100 higher than that on the policy document. Cholamandalam helpline is supposed to call me back with clarifications.... And I wait for the call as of 24 Oct 09Read More

Well I have sent the VD scan, and am waiting for the policy.....Will keep all posted. I wanted an enhanced VD as I already have a 50% No Claim Bonus and its cheaper for me to take a Rs 7500 VD than lose the no claim benefit.
