Today on Sunday, I got a call from the same bank official and he asked me to come to the bank tomorrow to open the account. Left me wondering why sudden a change of heart that he called me on Sunday. Thank you Mouthshut for giving me a chance to voice my complaint.

As per the bank form, under proof of residence, it is clearly mentioned that a letter from employer stating his address is admissible. When the same was provided and two previous bank accounts were opened with the same set of documents and were admissible at that point of time, then why suddenly thi...s time the bank is not entertaining the documents? KYC documnets are needed for proper verification of the person. When all documents have been submitted and the employer is certifying the address who already has an account with the bank, the bank cannot refuse opening of the account.Read More
