Not a good hospital
Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital - Erandawane - Pune

One day i had to had to visit the emergency bcoz my 2 year old daughter had inserted a gram inside her nose which was very easily pluck able from the outside but i did not want to frighten my baby . I was told that there would be expense of around Rs.4500/- as she will have to be taken to operation ...theater and i had to agree. They took her inside the OT and with in 5 minutes they plucked the gram with the help of forceps... the real tragedy started when i went to make the payment they charged something Rs.7000 and when i asked for the reason they started shouting and asked how much you want to pay? I said Rs.4500/- as you said at the time of admission and without any further argument they settled it with Rs.4500/- only. So, is this just a so called large hospital with related to its building or a small baniya ki dukan where bargaining is needed....a big question. This is just to confirm that if Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital is a charitable trust, and if this is the charitable organization they should not use the domestic cylinders in their canteens and can have some share of social responsibility!!!
