Well, I just purchased a new Honda shine about 10 days ago. To be honest I haven't been riding bikes since long, but my brother has. When we checked out Honda Shine, he instantly asked to go for it saying that it probabaly had the smoothest engine in its segment. I don't know much about Suzuki Zeus,... but considering all other options shortlisted by you, I would definitely recommend Honda Shine.Read More

One thing I liked about your review was that there was some effort put into it - some research was done. Well, keep up the good work!

Well, let me be very clear on this - I am no DNA fan. In fact it has been utterly disappointing and hardly offers any value. However, as far as your review is concerned, I guess, you should have called up the DNA guys first and clarified rather than just jumping for DNA + HT. Anyway, its good to hea...r that you've dumped TOI (its getting worse by the day) and taken to HT. The editorial content in HT - especially the edit page is worth mentioning. However, I must mention that since the past few days - after HT made some 'enhancements' to their paper - I feel it has tilted towards TOI in terms of exhibition of nude pictures. So I guess, you'll soon realise that you've only come from worse to bad! Good Luck!Read More

Well, for those who came in late, even TOI doesn't declare that they adhere to the principles of journalism. In fact, they deny that they are a publishing house or a newspaper (as it should be). Their primary concern is commercialisation and profit making (and they say this!). A veteran and senior j...ounalist once rightly said that, 'What TOI is doing now is sheer prostitution of Journalism!'.Read More

People have been telling me that I am too harsh at TOI. Well I guess they haven't read your review. Phew! You've lambasted them left, right and centre. But then, let me tell you something - even if the Editor of TOI reads your review - it'll hardly ruffle his feathers - They've got used to this stuf...f and have scant regard for what readers like us feel. Revenue and profit making is their sole concern and they'll go to any extent to achieve it - even if it warrants printing nude pictures on the front page or selling editorial space.Read More

Well, no offence meant - but then being a journalist, I couldn't bear to read this - I am sorry, but the Columnists writing for TOI are in no way the best in business (They are good but not the best). Check out M J Akbar, Kuldip Nayyar, Seema Mustufa in Asian Age; Vir Sanghvi, Sujata Anandan In HT ...(and many more) before passing this judgement. Well, I guess, you haven't read other papers too often. Once you check out the Edit pages of other papers, I guess, you'll realise that the Edit page In TOI hardly offers any value. The TOI habit is hard to kick - no doubt, but then once you check out other papers - you realise for how long TOI has been making a fool out of you and raking in the moolah.Read More

Well, I have been a HT subscriber ever since it was launched in Mumbai. Except for the early hitches (read late deliveries), it has been doing fine.
