the on road price for lxi here in B'lore is 4.59lacs....I don't think there's an option of getting the power windows and other accessories done in the factory itself.....tubeless or with tube....no idea...I frankly didn't remember to check for that....for the 49k worth of accessories i managed to ge...t a discount of around 13% that too after a gruelling 1 hour or more....floor mats, mud flaps, perfume are the only accessories that they give as complimentary and I hope that's of decent quality at leastRead More

Kartik, to answer your questions, I've asked for power windows fitment for all four (rs 13500), lxi does have adjustable rear head restraints, music system is panasonic with aux in (wma, mp3, etc) with 4 JBL speakers (rs16500), central locking (rs6500). Fitment will be done by dealer, got a decent d...iscount on the accessories but not a single rupee discounted on the car price. i10 i'm aware would cost lesser but then the mileage isn't anywhere close, it's known to be 11kmpl avg, quite a lot of i10 owners seem to be cribbing about something or the other which put me off. Maruti service network is one of the best in the country, and i have a friend who recently bought a swift from the same dealer, the service is quite good he said, they give you a good amount of attention but this might change from dealer to dealer. Mileage of Ritz is reported to be in the range of 14-15kmpl from the reviews, online posts and other sources and nobody is complaining about the mileage of ritz, everybody seems to be all praise for it's mileage which is probably why 70% of ritz cars sold are petrol compared to the almost 50% for Swift. The other reason for this could be because there's a bigger difference in pricing for Ritz petrol and diesel (87k compared to the 67k for swift)Read More

Thanks for the comments guys. I forgot to mention that I've asked for the fitment of accessories like power windows, central locking with remote, music system, and some other stuff for the Lxi which is why the price got to 5lacs. The dealer says delivery might take 2-3 months which was a little d...ifficult to digest, but then they said they'll try to expedite the delivery (probably cause of the corporate purchase) so that I get it in a month's time or so. I'll definitely comment on the mileage once I get the vehicle.Read More

I just booked the Lxi version of Ritz after a lot of research on the car. Did quite some reading about the car, read through auto mags, online reviews and quite alot of other posts online, took a test drive before taking the decision.(We also own a Swift Lxi(back in my hometown) which is one big...Read more

That sure was a brief review, looked more like a telegram. Maybe you've either run in the bike or weren't aware or didn't bother about running in the engine. It is quite possible that you may have seen the speedo read 120 kmph as to my knowledge it can do a 115-118 on the speedo although actual spee...d will be around 108 kmph or so. Nevertheless I'm amazed.Read More

Plunking in a wider tyre will definitely make a significant change to the looks and handling of the bike. But then you should not be bothered about the lower mileage you'll get as a result. The wide tyre could also bring down the pickup slightly. You might then have to consider making the feul air m...ixture richer, or even better putting in a K&N performance air filter and re-jetting the carb. I own a DX Gladiator too, and this is what I might do sooner or later. Read More

Hi buddies, I got a mileage of 51 kmpl with just 150 kms on the clock that too in City riding conditions. After the 1000 km run in period and the 1st service it might slightly improve. It all depends on the riding conditions around and your style of riding and also the quality of feul used.

I was passing by a Yamaha showroom and happened to see the new Gladiator, which took me by surprise although I had heard of its launch just early that week but didn't expect it's launch to be so silent & swift. I couldn't resist the temptation to get a closer look and test ride this new Yam. ...Read more

Hi guys, I just got my hands on a brand new Suzuki Swift 2 weeks back and I'm all praise for it already. The car has great pickup and acceleration is just too good for a car of its category. The engine is very smooth and refined with no signs of harshness at all. The ride quality and handling is...Read more

I just took a test ride and oh boy the bike sure looks strikingly beautiful in the flesh, specially the one in red (there are 4 colors to choose from, which are silver, grey, red and blue). The detailing on the bike is just brilliant although I would have loved to see a better looking headlight ...Read more
