UPDATE After I filed the complaint (after which I posted the review), nobody attended to it even after lots of phone calls. I basically gave up and explored other options like GPRS on cell phone etc.. About one and half months later, when I called customer care, they opened a new complaint. About ...two weeks after that (and after lots of follow-up at customercare as well as locally), very recently, they installed a new antenna and the connection started working.....However, now it works on only my laptop, not on anything else (seems to have been locked on MAC id) but that is another story for another day.... I am out of option....but I would vote anyday Reliance Broadband to be the worst service I've ever had. On speed front also, it is no where near 2Mbps. In fact, on the Reliance speedtest site (http://202.138.126.201/), it shows good speed (1.3Mbps etc..) when I click for very first time. I click again to test; speed drops...; I click again - it drops again. So it seems even testing of speed is not reliable. So much for 'Reliance'!!Read More
