Hi,
I bought Xeta GLS with CNG from Shraddha Motors, Bharuch ( Dealer fitted , Lendirenzo kit) my Second car on 04th September 2007 (Previously I have maruti 800 with CNG, it has good pickup with out AC)
Before I purchase I go through the opinion from people having xeta has good engine but build quality and maintenance requirement of TATA vehicles are slightly more.I have made my mind to go with alto With 3 - 3.5 budget . But after test drive and good space & POWER offered by xeta finally I bought Xeta GLS with CNG FOR 350000 Rs. on road cost.. It has crossed just 500 kms till now.
About Car -
Car very smooth running with petrol.It has good torque at low rpm. Engine running between 1000 RPM to 3000 RPM only withot any problem with ac. It has very good legroom for both front and rear side. Which is missing in alto, wagonr and santro. Car is very spacious can easily accommodate 5 person, powerful engine and with Dealer fitted cng ( no lapse of warranty ) it is very good deal. Running cost only 1.5 Rs per Km.it is giving me 11 km/l on petrol with ac and 15~18 kms/kg from cng in city. Interior is good. its a very good buy with powerful ac and power steering.(Power steering less power than Maruti)
Only lagging point is gap between exterior body parts are wider than others and gearbox is not so smooth initially it was hard to find reverse gear and Fifth gear now its smooth enough. (It may due to the driving habit of 4 transmission old maruti 800)
Overall very good car and I am happy with its power(only on petrol) , space and pricetag.
CNG fitment performance is very poor car is stopped on low rpm and as well as during gear shifting, (Dealer told me that some part is yet not installed is call "Lambda" or they know as a LCS. after installing it let us wait for further performance on CNG (Chippest fule on Earth)
Maintenance wise its performance is awaited.
