Innova is2-3 lakhs more and with less power, space & pick-up too. When boasting Innova this should also consider. For the difference amount you can buy another small car too.

Sad to note that you have been cheated either by the dealer/mahindra. But U didn't tell anything about the performance of the vehicle. That is the main thing to be taken seriously, in my opinion

Hi ajain, My vehicle have crossed 7000 Kms now and apart from the 1st Service Oil Change cost of Rs.1600/-, I did not spend a single paise so far on maintenance side. The only problem so far I feel is if not fully packed 35 psi pressure will give you little wobbling. So I set my Xylo's tyres to 3...3 psi, which is OK. I am getting 10 Kms in city and on long trip it was 13.6Read More

Thanks for your special mention. I am sure that you won't regret it later when comparing what you got and what you spend. Now my Xylo has crossed 6000 Km and its performance is excellent. If U keep air pressure to 32 pounds the ride comfort will be more.

Last week I took a 1200 Kms long drive in 4 days. I got 13.6 Kms with A/c throughout. Around 200 Kms of the travel was in hilly areas. In city you can expect around 10 Kms

Hi, Nice review. I too own an E8-ABS model and covered more than 3500 Kms. Excellent vehicle in terms of performance, convenience, space etc. But I feel little more wobbling in Xylo than other vehicles in bad roads. What is your comment on this.

Thank U for immediate response. As directed by you I have checked the air pressure and found that all the 4 are with 35 pounds. In the book also the recommended Tyre pressure is 35 pounds. So shall I reduce it to 30?

I owned a TATA INDIGO for more than 5 years. I was totally satisfied in its performance except the sluggish pick-up. I think that problem has been eradicated in Manza. In the five years I drove about 70000 Kms and spent only very nominal amount (less than Rs. 10,000/-) in addition to the regular ser...vice costs. So in my opinion it is a value for money car.Read More

Hai. So far I have crossed 3300. I was able to go up to120 Kms due to road conditions. No rattling. No shivering and the engine was smooth & steady. I did not feel it was going at 120 Kms. I was forced to reduce the speed due to bad road condition & traffic. Now just a small press at pedal the vehic...le flies at 100 kms smoothly without any fear in mind.Read More

I do support Mr. Sandeep in its performance. I own XYLO E8 ABS which crossed 300 0 Kms now. Now the gears & engine became more soother. Driving is a pleasure especially in high ways. I tried up to 120 Kms speed. No vibrations & engine was silent. Even Scoda Luara was not able to compete with... me today ( he tried a lot, then scooted). Wish you also continuous pleasure journey.Read More

I do also own Xylo ABS and my opinion & experience is also similar. Excellent vehicle expect the minor problems pointed out by you which I do also facing( this type of small problems may occur in Mercedez & BMW's- who knows???). Please inform how the performance of speakers after U changed i...t 400 W & the cost incurred? Nice review.Read More

You can go for Xylo without any hesitation. BMW is also readily available. Is that means BMW is bad. Xylo is not in the car segment. So naturally its demand is only from a special sector and will be limited. Now be happy for no waiting period. None of the vehicle except Swift/Dizare has waiting peri...od as per my knowledge. Regarding breaks of E4, I am in the dark. I have taken a test drive in E8 without ABS but that did not show any problems.Read More

Hi, Sachin, I have so far driven only 1500 Kms & up to 3000 Ks we have to limit its RPM below 2000. Hence, I did not cross 100 Ks for far. Hence I give below the real experience of Mr. Rambomenon 'The long drive helped in testing the vehicle to its limits as well as test the mileage. Highlights ...described under:1. The AC is effective even in AC Low mode. No complaints at all.2. The long drives gave a chance to estimate the mileage given - 80 - 90 kmph - 13 + kmpl (most ideal is 80 kmph), but difficult to hold back with such good engine performance and one wants to move faster. Now I know the need for restriction during the running in period. - 90 - 100 kmph - 12 + kmpl - 100 - 110 kmph - 11 + kmph - above these speeds - 9 + kmph (approx)3. I drove the car steady at 100 - 110 kmph. No overheating, the pick up remained same. AC performance, vehicle stability all good.4. I even took the Xylo to 145 kmph. It was a great feel, although the engine noise seemed loud. Even at this speed, the Xylo was steady and stable.5. With time the gears have become smoother.6. I used the DDAS to my advantage to get the best mileage. The indications in the DDAS proved to be correct.7. The reverse park assist is the best part, making parking even in crowded areas easy.8. I had good share of bad roads in all my drives, but the Xylo took them all with ease. Yes there is a rattling when one goes over very bad undulated roads, but it quits out once you reach smooth surfaces.' Hope that this will clear your doubt. But one thing I can assure you 'excellent pick-up'.Read More

Dear Harry, Thank for your comments. I have driven different Innovas by the last 2 years in different roads. I never said Innova is bad in any aspect except look & price. It is a very comfortable vehicle too. But when compared Xylo in price, the better option is Xylo which is almost giving all comf...orts except a little engine refinement as you said. But the pick-up of Xylo is better than Innova. 3rd row travel is also better than Innova. more over there is a price difference of almost Rs. 2 lakhs- I repeat Rs. 2.00 Lakhs- for that we can purchase an additional small car for local use.Read More

Dear harrykid, You are really a kid and doesn't know the value of hard earned money. We never said innova is bad. But on the money we spend, Xylo is a better option. Fist do a test drive in both the vehicles, think about the money you are going to spend and returns. then comment.

It will be better to go for E6 in my opinion. About Rs.70,000/- will be the difference. Reverse Sensor,Nippon Music System(fairly good for normal persons)Partly fabric seats, body side molding, DDAS etc. etc. It will be better to get it fitted in factory itself. I was very particular in getting a mo...del with ABS since I miraculously escaped from a fatal skidding with my previous car. That is the main reason, I went for E8Read More

If Innova with the same features are available for Rs. 8.5 lakhs, then there is a point in comparing 2 brands. At Rs. 8.5 Lakhs Xylo is unbeatable in all sense. Most of my travel is within city limits, where exorbitant traffic exists. As far as experience, the driving control of Xylo is as easier as an Alto or Spark. Xylo does have an excellent pick-up even to compete with 2 wheeler/auto at traffic points. More over, 2 wheeler/autos will not care any cars. ...But they do have some fear over Xylo's masculine body and keeping away. once you drive the same only can give you the feeling, which I unable to explain through words. Parking is absolutely ease with the help pf Intele Reverse System. So if U are planning to buy better to go for E6 or E8Read More
