The whole problem lies with Tata Motors dealers. Dealing with customers at manager levels is very good. But at lower levels, they are too used to treating all customers as TAXIWALAS or hired drivers of Sumos and Safari, not realising that Fiat customers in India are a different breed. I have been using a Fiat Linea Emotion Diesel for last 10 months and have not encountered any such problem. However, I did face some other problems, and I do have reason to believe that my car was used, repaired and repainted by dealer, before being sold to me. Buddy - yours could be a similar probl...em. Ask the dealer for PDI details, history of car pre-delivery, when was it recd from factory etc. You will not be given proper details. Try it ......! Gentlemen, now please address Vijay's genuine concerns too. 1. I too feel ground clearance is low. but a lot depends on your driving skills - yes, you have to read the road and be more careful, compared to many other cars. You can't crash through a bad patch like an SX-4 or an SUV. However, this as...pect has helped bring about sobriety in my driving atleast. But believe me, the problem is still less than that in Honda City. 2. to 6. I feel you have given your car a bad bump because of which the the left front wheel mounting has got damaged or disbalanced. Try getting wheel alignment done at a non tata-fiat agency, like say a ceat outfit - ask them to inspect for damages on front suspension.Read More
