I really accept with this review. But iam not sure how was the mileage 10-13. I have brought a VVT version in Feb 2010 and so far i could never reach a two digit mileage. I always loved this care but never considered it for its poor mileage and i changed my decision only seing the VVT badge and t...he claims of 15 km/lit which is bullshit as some one already claimed. I spoke to service folks and they say that mileage will improve after 3rd service (1 year) don’t you think that’s crazy. The torque too is not distributed , the number of times i need to change gears in my maruti 800 is far less than that i need to do in SX4.... SUZUKI.................WHO IS THE BEST?? Read More

As promised checked tank to tank milage today. The trip mtr showed 401km for 41lits. This comes to an avg of 9.8. All this is on AC in Hyderabad trafic and temp (here its 40deg + now a days so mentioning this is imp) . The first half of this distance, i did a bit of 2500 rpm + ....after some advi...se from one of the user who left a comment on my review to keep the car under 2500 rpm on each gear, I managed to drive a bit smooth well under 2000 rpm. So, may be i could get close to 10k because of this. May be if i do this from now i may get 11 in city...will let you know when i fill my tank next time. I have many friends of mine who own the non VVT sx4s and all of them claim that they got 11 km/lt tank to tank before the 1st service....surprises me...the old Ver car gives more milage than VVT??? Iam going to fill my tank again...will let you know the actual milage today.

Can you please tell me whats the approx milage your car gives? My SX4 Zxi is as old as yours and has done similar milage and cries to give 9 km/lit so wanted to know if its the same with every one?
