Ohhhh....just read stuff at XBHP.com Why should Bajaj get their models to Showroom in first place? Why Pune residents have a say in design feedback? Why can't other have a say or feedback? Is the employee sacked? Then it's very bad did xbhp ban memebers? I think yes, it's blot on xbhp.com... too..... A very surprise move by Bajaj....should be frustrated !! Mahindra and Mahindra are also joining 2 wheeler space in big way, 100/125/150cc bikes to start with....Bajaj will shut down if they keep doing such tactics.Read More

Well written, most Pulsarians remember only the best mileage and bear in their mind for life. Pulsars give max. mileage like 55 kmpl during first few 1000 kms, that's b'cos bajaj puts some mileage enhancing oils before selling it. Most people will ride it with 50-55 kmpl in their mind for ever. But... after 4,000 or 5,000 kms the mileage drops and even hits below 40 kmpl. Many don't notice this, afterall 150cc belongs to younger/richer class. I have many friends who claim Pulsar milege below 40 kmpl in B'lore. That similar to Old CBZ, but Old CBZ lasts much longer than poor Pulsar. Any day a 5 year old CBZ will beat 2 year old Pulsar in mileage - that's truth. But Pulsar sank CBZ mainly on mileage ground. Hope more than million Pulsarians know this trick played by Bajaj. And any day Hero Honda quality is always better than competition, and any day Hero Honda service is the best. Regarding speedo on Pulsar many have said it's tampered to run faster than standard. The odo reading is also fake which runs more than it should. Thank Bajaj brains :)Read More

Consortium of Indian Auto Industries several decades ago had demaded govt. of India not allow foriegn companies to sell their finished product in India (including CKDs SKDs). Govt. of India found some sense in this as Japanese firms would knock out all Indian Auto companies in matter of few years an...d affect not only few manufacturers but also small scale industies. Some govts. allowed collaborations to improve Indian companies like Escorts,Hero,TVS and Bajaj. Govt. is also firm that foriegn companies can only come in only if they set up their own R&D + factory and source all parts from within the country. This way India gets jobs and investment, plus level playing competition with Indian companies. Do you know the above facts in first place?? Do you think Escorts,Bajaj,Hero and TVS will stand competition with Hondas & Suzukis??? Let me tell you Bajaj Hero Escorts and TVS will be shreded into tiny bits in matter of few weeks :))) All they need is some 1970's technology to do so :)))) Raveev Bajaj , Mujnal & Venu Srinivasan are living b'cos of the policies of Govt. of India. Otherwise these guys will be beggars on roads :)))) As a owner of Bajaj product I'm not at all satisfied, whereas my father will say stories about his CD100 to his grand children :)))) I'm not alone to say such things. Japanese bikes are cheaper than Indian bikes. Some southasian countries have pure Jap bikes. People in these countries buy highest reliable bikes for lesser money than Indian counterparts do. Hero Honda will suffer if Honda pulls out everybody knows that, u sound like saying B comes after A in dictionary :)) 'Benchmark', as a layman I would be interested in a bike which has good powerplant and smooth gearbox as these are important facets of a bike. Unicorn/Achiever simply kills Pulsar in these areas. 1999 model CBZ still rocks :))) I guess more than 75% 2003 Pulsar are dead already :))) Digest these facts and heed to Ilyas request 'don't argue'. Just one clarification : Till Date Bajaj has not even produced a single bike or scooter on it's own. Scooter technologies were from Vespa Italy. All bikes are copied versions / imitations of Kawasaki bikes. Bajaj may add disc brake(and make the bike more accident friendly), new tank , stickers etc ...not more that. A local skilled mechanic can also do it right in his garage. On the contrary, Honda,Suzuki Yamaha Kawas spends billions on vehicle research to give best technology to the people around the world. If Bajaj and TVS were really great bike companies they should not have tied up with Jap companies. The tie-up has obvious reasons - cheat them by back-stabbing and copy their hard earned technologies. Simply shameful isn't it ? And there's suggestion that Japanese gaints have to learn from Bajaj - That's joke of the day on MS. Mohan KudvaRead More

Good review, Honda spends several billion dollars on research of bikes & cars. They help millions of people with cutting edge technologies all over the world. Indian Honda firm is new and developing, expect Honda & Suzuki to sink all III grade bikes in future. Companies like Bajaj will have name...sake R&D with no facilities, Bajaj arrive at new bikes by means of copy , beg, borrow, steal, reverse engg etc. That's why they don't attain perfection in quality. Their bikes have very less life and reliability and re-sale is also very very bad. Bajaj marketing brains sell faulty bikes , Disc125 with disc brakes was sold in 1000's and it seems according to several comments in MS that it had dangerous braking system and very accident prone. People are saying that Discover 110 cc, Platina are having re-worked engine of Kawasaki Boxer. Only good about Bajaj is good advertisement and looks of bike rest all is scarp. Read More

One good mechanic who is close to my friend saw this bike and test rided, his opinion is that i should go for complete overhaul of engin and gear box and change some important parts and said it may cost between 5 to 7 thousands. His opinion was that both power & mileage cannot be improved very much... than present-state even after overhaul, but only promised smooth operation and reduce stalling. After his opinion only I felt I should sell and upgrade. Thank you Mohan S KuduvaRead More
