Hi taurgo, I would still recommend the Pulsar because of the below reasons. 1. Many people (including me) are attracted towards any bike mainly based on the look and feel. (like how guys go behind girls :) ) Bajaj knows well about this. Engine perforamnce, riding comfort, reliability etc comes ...second in priority. 2. In the 150 segment and above, very few people really care about mileage. People are OK if they get 35-40 kmpl. Actually, the Pulsar 150 will never give you a steady mileage. It changes with speed. If you go faster, and/or do gear shifts not w r t the speed, the bike will consume more fuel as well. 3. Pulsar 150 can be recommended to people who maintain the bike well. (like oil change, no rash driving etc..) 4. lastly, I have not got a chance to drive Unicorn, Xtreme, or Glamour. So I know nothing about these bikes. Many Unicorn owners told me that Unicon is a very good bike. But again the design sucks. I don't know why the HH bikes are pathetic by design. May be lack of enough market research. rgds, Roy Read More
