I have something to say here... Hero Honda itself do not have R & D dept. It is fully dependent on Honda. There is no necessity to upgrade a bike every year which is still selling like hot cakes. The news is that Honda wanted to launch its bigger bikes (CBR 1000RR and CBR 1000R) before it gives a wo...rthy upgrade to Karizma. Honda has successfully launched its bigger bikes and so far 21 bikes have been delivered to customers. Now its ZMA's turn. Your wait is over. New ZMA (christened as ZMR) is on the cards and should be launched in Oct 2009. A new revolution is about to set the roads on fire and kick the competition out of sight and make 'em envy. It has got all the features you are waiting for (well, more than what you've imagined). The specifications are not yet out officially, but you will not be disappointed now. Just prolong your wait for another 2-3 months.Read More

Thanks Manish :) On the mileage part, I really have no exact figure, never checked the mileage till date. I'm sorry, but couldn't help. In city, I shift the gears in b/w 5k-6k RPM and to my calculation it should be returning somewhere b/w 40-43 kmpl.

Riding posture is different from normal commuter bikes, but still it can be used for city riding. Slowly u can get used to it. I'm comfortable with the riding posture when riding in tight traffic conditions. So u better take a test drive before you decide.

thanks xiona and soumalidon. @soumalidon: thanks again for the tip. I'm planning to install some accessories like rim stripes, gold colored brake and clutch levers. I will consider seat cowl if it is available in a color that matches with red R15. So far I've seen only blue colored ones. The look...s just get better and better with the accessories.Read More

I own a Red R15 since 6 months and the current ODO reading is around 2.9k. I'm not a tourer and use the byke mostly for daily commuting. I won't be taking the bike to racing clubs and do all the stuff race bikers do, still I love this one. Love the way it handles, performs. Before R15, I used to...Read more

Hi Champ: I've seen some people having minor niggles with their bikes, it doesn't mean its a bad bike. Using R15 since 6 months and never had a problem. You are a loser who thinks R15 can beat the crap out of your new steed (whatever it is). Now buzz off!!

Welcome Madrista :) I own a red one and the only reason that made me trade my ZMA for R15 is the availability of red color. Blue is also equally good with some sticker job on side panels. If had to choose between black and blue, I will go with Blue. However, color is purely personal choice :)

Congo for the new bike. FZ16 is real stunner, but I preferred R15 over this and owned one recently :D

Get a life a$$ hole. This bike produces 17bhp, not 22bhp. Don't try to give false specs here please. hehe
