I am a movie buff, and having been out of India for sooo long we finally got the desi channel installed and I am really glad for it. And yes, this is one of the very few serials that is different, all actors are good at their acting and the story line is also more innovative.

I agree with the fact that unlike the Ekta serials this does not drag unnecessarily. And all the characters have played their parts well. Even the spoiled siblings of Samay have done justice to their role.

I agree with you , this is a good blend of the east and west that is portrayed in this serial. I also like the way Samay's family was shown and how Rusty tries to mend their ways!

After having recently banned Ekta serials, I have to say that watching this serial was very refreshing. It is gripping, a little more believable and I love the characters. Their acting seems to have matured and gone to the next level since the beginning of this serial. Samay, who I didn't much c...Read more

I think that people born and raised in the U.S. may not watch much of Hindi television, however they are hooked on the American Soaps which are just as bad...:-) Although, adultery and having kids out of wedlock etc. is very common here, I am sure these western values are quickly being accepted by o...ur people in India too...which to me is pretty sad! It’s disheartening to see the Indian values (which I have always been very proud of) go down the drain!! I have infact, discontinued watching a lot of the serials (including the ’’K’’ serials) in the past because of this reason.Read More

Having lived in the U.S. for all these years and having watched hundreds of English movies and believe it or not people here start off even on the streets, yet everytime I watch such a scene in hindi serials or movies I cringe!!! I guess, I too have a hard time accepting this on the desi screen....m...aybe it's the values that come in the way!...:-)Read More

I am with you on that! The day Pia gets pregnant with Jai's kid....You will not be the only one to stop watching this serial, there will be a lot more people following that route (including me!) Tell me, is this considered a normal trend in India now??? There obviously is no such thing as values an...d morals left in these hindi serials, but does this carryover amongst the common public??? I sincerely hope that the future generations have something better than this to look fwd to!...:-)Read More

I guess maybe we are behind in the episodes here in the U.S., we have yet to see Bani's pregnancy being terminated..:-) I agree with your thought of making this serial more thought provoking for the audience rather than the characters themselves...LOL And yes, Ekta needs to change her style a bit, ...it's a bit old now!Read More

I agree with u...This is the 1st time I have actually felt like writing a review for a TV serial (cause there is something good in this serial which seems to touch a cord somewhere and I am hoping that they don't ruin it), cause it is catchy to a certain point but it does drag and the way it's going... now pretty soon it will feel like Deja Vu, as it might follow the typical story line of hindi (balaji) serials.Read More

My family and I have been watching this serial from day one...and we are pretty hooked on to it..however, after living in the U.S.A. for all these years I thought ADULTERY was a big part of this Country but never thought that we back home would give it such big publicity!!!! Like all of Ekta's s...Read more
