After having recently banned Ekta serials, I have to say that watching this serial was very refreshing. It is gripping, a little more believable and I love the characters. Their acting seems to have matured and gone to the next level since the beginning of this serial. Samay, who I didn't much care for have actually fallen for his character. His acting, his look (the clean shave) and the 360 degree change in character are remarkable. This is a much "cleaner" serial than most Ekta productions.
The recent episode of Rusty's self-realization of her true feelings for Samay in the midst of the search for his mother was very touching and very well acted out. The pain, the love, the longing, the guilt, have all been picturised by the story writer, director and most of all portrayed by the actors in a wonderful way.
I like the choice of background music, and the songs used. And ofcourse, the part I liked the most..so far, no adultery! I hope I am not speaking too soon..:-)
Anyways, as of today I think this is one of the behtareen serials for the entire family.
