Thanks for your input, dj_rock. Actually, I did look at VW Vento and took a TD too. Skoda Rapid was not on my radar, based on forum reviews stating poor after sales service of Skoda. The VW Vento build quality was very good. The interiors were also very nice. But somehow, I have always had a mind... only for Japanese Cars, predominantly Honda & Toyota. Toyota had Etios, which I test drove. It was nowhere in comparison to Honda City class, plushness, interiors (beige), music system & looks in general. I even looked at the Toyota Corolla & Corolla Aero. But Toyota Corolla was in the Honda Civic range, which was above my budget. The 2012 Honda City V MT was in a sweet spot, since it was 2L lesser than comparable VW Vento diesel. I only wanted a top end version may it be Honda City or VW Vento. The reverse camera is Circuit-I that Honda sells and it has a custom fit. While installation, it is plug and play with exiisting Honda City electrical system. The LED screen hangs on the rear view mirror. Very convenient to dial and receive calls while on the raod. It also displays the incoming phone number.Read More

I concur 100% with the review. I am also a proud owner of a Hyundai Getz 1.3. It is a Beauty! I have done 35K+ kms in close to 5 years and the handling is as good as new! I have regularly serviced our Getz 1.3L every 6 months. I have calculated the milage continuously. On highways, I get 17+ kpl and... in city around 14 kpl. Of course I do not unnecessary raise the engine or accelerate too fast or brake hard, hence the higher mileage figures. I'd recommed the Getz 1.3L anytime for its superb build quality!Read More
