After my registered letter, someone from Tata Sky called from Bangalore. He just wanted to know whether their call center executive told me anything on the requirement of installation on the terrace(and the necessary society permission) and also the requirement of a window in the SE direction. I re...plied in the negative and he promised to get back after listening to the call recording. Then after a week, a person visited my house asking for return of the hardware. I refused in the absence of any communication. Again somebody called and assured me that the person is authorised by Tata Sky. After taking the equipment, there was another telephone call that my refund would be routed through my credit card account. Finally I got back the amount. Beware, everything happens over phone and there is no written record of the refund process. However all is well that ends well. But Tata Sky need not drive the customer from pillar to post leaving a bitter taste in the mouth.Read More
