Amit, congrats on your new car, It is definitely a great decision to move with Honda city. I moved from Hyundai accent GVS ( clocked 86K Kms) to honda City SMT ( bought in 2009 and sold in 2012) and then moved to vento diesel. Honda is definitely a pleasure to drive, only thing which i had an issue ...with was the light weight of the car, i used to feel uncomfortable after 100km/hr speed on highway, rest was great. I am having fun in driving vento diesel rocket ( sorry to call it a rocket but it actually gives you same feeling) with a sturdy ride. happy driving!!!!Read More

Hi Aj, really sad to know your experience, looks like you have been cheated with a faulty vehicle. I can understand, how it feels when you get so many troubles after buying a costly vehicle, Mahindra should understand that they are not selling cheap vehicles then why is the product quality so cheap.

Hi Midhunm, congrats on your new purchase, I personally feel that Beat is quite underpowered as compared to Ford figo. Figo has got ample of space, style and 1400cc proved engine, the price margin is also not much I guess, depends upon negotiation. I really liked the quiteness of beat and pepp...yness in city traffic but overall, it is suitable for city drive as compared to Ford and may be polo diesel as well. Happy motoring and keep sharing your experiences as there are quite good feedbacks about beat. pl. share user experience with service support as well. thanks Read More

I own ANHC ivtec, even in ideal condition, that does not give more than 14-15km/ ltr with AC ON on highways and 10-11 in city drive, I am really surprised to see the mileage of your car, lucky guy with lucky car :)

I do own a honda city iv-tec, honda cars are low on ground clearance, mileage of civic is quite low. kindly point the negatives as well so that users will make up their mind before buying the product.

I agree, i lost my four caps of alloy wheels while getting them installed, thanks to the tyre guy, who did some mischief, honda asked me to pay rs 1250 PER PLASTIC CAP, can you imagine, 5000rs for four ally wheel caps, later on, one of my known in honda called up local honda and they gave it to me f...or rs 250 per cap, this is really an eye opener. it is dealers who are charging the way they want and whatever they want, companies are having least control, still i will say that honda is better in that segment as compared to others like VW, Nissan and i would say toyota also, though a lot would diagree on the same. this is just my personal experience.Read More

pathetic review, waste of time, we can find all these from website, you need to share your user experience, rather than trying to vouch for particular dealer, who has been bomblasted in other real user reviews

thats true, I also booked two AC's ( one 5 star rating Voltas vertis Split AC, another 3 star Croma split AC) eight days back, I was promised for delivery asap, I am waiting for the product till date ( even after 8 days), now I am going to croma to get the refund today, it is a shame as they book pr...oduct and then don't deliver, real shame ( pacific mall, ghaziabad)Read More

pl. ask service dealer to check for RPM's of your car, that also impacts a lot but getting 7-8kms/ltrs is too low, I am also getting an average of 11kms/ltr in city and 12-13 kms/lts on highway ( though I don't drive this car much on highway), both readings with 50%ac on. I have driven my car for ar...ound 7k kms, it is may 2011, i10 magna 1.2 vtvt model. One time, i got my sensors resetted and my idle timer ( RPM) came pretty low, hope that helps to some extent, rest try, tank full to tank full measurement. I am still having one santro, had 3 santro's xing in past +one accent from hyundia, the current i10 is one of the worst wrt mileage, i can bet on accent any day as compared to i10. it is highly exaggerated car wrt mileage and I personally feel that vtvt version compromises on power as well.Read More

Mr Pillai and Mr muendra, I am also having honda I-Vtec SMT model since sep 2009, it is one of the best petrol car in the segment, till today, it is extremely silent, no engine noise at idle condition. regarding horn, I do agree that it sounds differently, something to do with quality of horn, nothin...g much, you can get them replaced with horn from halla company ( must be around 350-400rs). this is sad that you had too many trouble with the car, pl. try to check for some different service centre who can help you out in pinning down some of the issues if nt all. I am very happy with prime honda service centre in Delhi, they are very courteous and punctual, they pick up car on time, clean it properly and ensure a proper feedback as well. Read More

I also bought i10 Kappa 1.2 vtvt in june 2011, till then, it has really burn a hole in my pocket, my car is giving a mileage of 8 kms/ltr in city, have not taken it on highway, it has run 2600kms and passed two services as well. I am not sure, what is the solution of this mini-merc, i feel too much ...cheated and not sure if even hyundai people can do something in this. I have already shown my car twice to them, no luck.Read More

This car is definitely the best wrt style and fuel economy, I am also getting 14km/ltr in city ( Delhi) with 80% AC, I mostly switch off AC while standing on red lights, just to avoid the increase in engine sound( quite annyoying). keep writing.

Saby, no offense, but the issue here is different, I10 owners are not getting a decent mileage, not even closer to what company is claiming. I am getting an average of 8 ltrs/km with partial AC in city drive, I do have Swift Lxi, which gives me a min of 12-13kms/ ltrs in city, I have been a pri...de owner of three santro xing's till date and still own one, it has always given 12 kms/ltr in city. If we all knew that KAPPA 1.2 VTVT ( all those bold claimed words) would give 8-9kms/ ltr mileage then no one would have happily purchased this car.Read More

I am from Delhi, recently bought I10 Kappa vtvt, average with partial AC is 9km/ltr, tried all permutation and combination but no help. My santro is giving better mileage, around 13 in city with AC ON full time. Hyundai is really cheating with this car

Hi Tinku, 21 km per litre on highway even, is an amazing average, I am somehow getting 8 kms/ltr in city and 11kms per litres on highway, though I have just driven 2000 kms but don't feel like driving this car with such shabby average.

Hi Amit, surprisingly, i also noticed the same issue of clutch paddle, it is very high, previously, I have owned three santro xing and accent from hyundai, none of them had this kind of issue. Mileage is another big issue, my car has done 2000kms till date but it literally drinks petrol, I fee...l like selling it off and cursing the day when I decided to buy this car in place of a diesel car.. Even Accent was giving a better mileage than this crappy carRead More
