You could probably get a top of the line IBM Thnkpad T61 / Sony Vaio / HP DV9000 series for that amount.
You couldve also tried Dell XPS1210 / XPS1710.These are ultra Portable.

You havent mentioned the price of this notebook.One can judge a product only through the VFM (Value for Money) factor.The market for notebooks is hotting up and competition is fierce.You can get very good bargains.

Have had this player for a year now.What sets it apart from other players is its outstanding sound quality which doesnt seem to defect even at full volumes.The highs and the lows are intact at this level.I must say its better than the ipod and gives better VFM on features.The packaged Sennheiser ear...phones score low on bass delivery.I opted for the sony 737LP earphones which pair well with the player.

Those were good insights on the SUV's available and well compared.
This will help in my decision to either go for a scorpio or the dicor.
You were right in saying the innova is a 'mini van' however it does offer lotsa space which is hard to get in most cars in india.
