Datawind is a fraud company. All your replies here are a part of that fraudulent tricks. I lost a lot of money in 2014. Horrible experience. Never ever buy datawind products.

Never buy Datawind product. It is a fraud company and cheats people. I strongly recommend that the public buys good products from good and reputed brands. Even if they are expensive, they will save you time, money and energy. Your product will last for atleast 2-3 years without any hassle. Go for a ...good brand.Read More

I bought pocketsurfer 5X4 months ago and have had a horrible experience. The device was not getting charged and there are no support service centers anywhere. Although the company gave me the names of two, they refused to entertain.
I travelled all the way - some 25-30 kms after calling them. Whe...n I phoned them up, they had told me that they can suggest only after seeing the device.
Then, when I went all the way, they gave all kinds of excuses and refused to oblige since it was under warranty period and under warranty, these service centers do not earn anything. I spent 2 liters of petrol and half-a-day in my effort to set the device set right but in vain.
I called the Amritsar office again and they asked me to send the device to their service center there. I had to struggle to pack the device in a safe box with good packing material. It cost me courier charges that would make it totally meaningless to even send it across.
I have no hopes of getting it resolved since I have seen the reviews of people who have bought other devices of Ubislate - the company that manufactures these products. I strongly suggest everybody out there planning to buy this product or other products of Ubislate to stop themselves from doing so however tempting the products may look like or with regard to the price and features. Go for good brands like nokia, samsung, sony or even panasonic although they may cost more.
Don't experiment with this company's products. They are all horrible. I lost Rs. 3750/- because I knew nothing about this company. I learnt my lessons the hard way. I hope this review would make you do a little bit of searching on google and other sites to see and decide for yourself. Just google it out for yourself about the product and you will find negative reviews for not just this product but all products of Ubislate. They are cheats. Datawind is the worst company ever. They cheat people by selling very cheap mobile and tablet phones. The product is so cheap that you would get an electric shock if you try to charge it. The charger is also very poor in quality. My recommendation to the public is to go for a good brand even if it c...osts you more, it will last a longer time.Read More

@manivannan_pk, even if you get it the same day it is not worth it. The worst phone ever. I was getting electric shock when trying to charge it (their charger is also very poor quality).

@datwindinnovations, you called me a year ago telling me that you are ready to exchange my phone if I am ready to pay a little more and upgrade. To which I shouted at you telling you to refund the amount. You banged the phone down . You wasted my time, money and energy. I had to spend two full days ...and several phone calls and emails, running from pillar to post, travelling from my home to a service center that was 30 kms away only to be told that they don't service.
